Easter & a House Update

For Easter we went over to Tim & Crystal's after church and enjoyed a delicious lunch then Annalee had the perfect gigantic "front yard" at HSU to hunt eggs.  She practiced hunting eggs at school the Thursday before so she was an expert on Sunday.  What a cutie she was in her little dress & shoes from Babs prancing around with her little basket picking up all the eggs!

On a mission

Dallas was very proud of his outfit this Easter...

I think we wore these 2 out or are they just sleeping on the job?

Growing girl

So much for not going another 3 months without a post! I'm going to back track a little bit so if I ever end up printing a book of my blogs it will be in order.  First off Annalee turned 11 months and her sweet silly personality was showing more and more each day.

Then we celebrated her 1st birthday Thanksgiving weekend with family & friends. She devoured her cake and loved being the center of attention, of course! Here is her invitation that I designed in Photoshop & a few pics from the party:

After that Christmas was right corner.  We took Annalee to see Santa and of course she highly disliked it (she has not been a fan of many men, besides her daddy, up to this point and Santa was no exception!).  She loved opening her presents - more to play with the paper and boxes than what was actually inside.  After her birthday and Christmas we can pretty much open up a toy store now (and maybe clothing store too!).  We are very blessed by how many people love on our sweet girl!

Here is a picture of this big girl from last weekend at the park.  She is walking & running all over the place now, she loves being outside, she says a few words and babbles a lot, still loves dancing and really has quite a bit of rhythm, and chocolate milk is her favorite. She goes to school one day a week right now and cries everytime I drop her off.  Let's hope this phase passes quickly because it makes it harder to leave her. She is such a joyful little girl and time is flying!

Other news: I started my new job drawing house plans on the computer in January.  It has been challenging at times but I am really loving it! Dallas is almost done with basketball season and then he moves on to track.  He is already wishing summer would get here faster.  His new favorite hobby is riding his motorcyle that he got back in December.

And our most exciting news for the month: we start BUILDING our HOUSE tomorrow!! Yay! Pictures of that process to come soon!

Past 3 months..

Annalee says hiii...we are back.  It has been a while! That is what moving, starting new jobs & having a little one will do to ya! Here is a quick recap in pictures of what we have been up to the past few months.
8 months & decided eating her stickers is more fun than taking pictures with them.

Right when we moved here we went to the Wylie coaches party and the biggest raffle prize there was  73'' TV and guess who won it!?? Welcome to Abilene! It is currently residing at Dallas' parents because we did not have room for it.  I don't think Kerr is going to give it back!
Annalee starting crawling and pulling up on everything she could.

We had pictures for the Wylie Football program as Dallas was officially coaching football for the first time. He is super busy with practice, Jr. High games, and scouting for the high school team.
Here is one afternoon activity you won't see in Katy...rooster chasing.  This rooster showed up literally on the doorstep and would not leave! He would let you pet him and was really not scared of humans.  Let me tell you he sure was annoying in the morning though!
In September, Erin & I went to Chicago to see Lacey!  It was so much fun seeing Chicago & being with sweet friends!
Wylie Football Game

9 months

2 cute little teeth! (Now she is getting her top 2)

Wylie Jr. High Pep Rally

10 months

In October, Crystal & I went to Amarillo to see Grandpa & Grandma.  We had a great time shopping and hanging out with G & G!

Kelsey's shower was this past weekend and she got a ton of gifts for sweet baby Presley!  I had fun making my first diaper cake as part of the decorations.
Friends since we were little!

Taking pumpkin patch pictures this past weekend too.

Annalee is very close to walking now!  She will take about 5-6 steps before she falls down.  She loves clapping, taking baths, dancing and getting to be a spoiled little girl by all the family in Abilene! Ok, maybe I can get another blog in before 3 months past next time.

More Summer

More summer fun to write about...
We celebrated Dallas' first Father's day back in June. Annalee took him shoe shopping for new tennis shoes...his favorite. She also made him a cute little book with pictures of them and bought him a case of Mountain Dew.  She is one blessed little baby girl to have such an amazing dad!

A few weeks later we went to see Abe & Courtney in Corpus with my parents.  Abe had to work pretty much the whole time we were there but Courtney was a great tour guide.  We went to the beach, to the 2 story Whataburger on the Bay, got to see Kelsey & her family, ate delicious food all weekend, went to the Texas State Aquarium, and just enjoyed family time.

Annalee went home with Mom & Dad to stay with Babs (Dallas' Mom) for a few days.  She got to go shopping, see Grandpa & Grandma, drive Uncle T's new (old) truck, and enjoyed being the center of attention.  I'm sure she made sure to keep Babs busy the whole time! This was the longest we have been away from her and we definitely were ready to see her!

The Monday we got to Abilene I had Annalee's pictures taken by Courtney Cochran. They turned out great and Annalee was a happy little model for almost the whole shoot!

Then we celebrated the 4th of July that Wednesday.  We made an American flag out of cake balls and shot off fireworks at Dallas' parents house then went to watch the Coliseum fireworks also.  Annalee got her first tooth the next day and was pretty fussy so she did not enjoy the loud fireworks at all!

That weekend we headed to the Frio for our annual trip with my family.  It was a relaxing weekend hanging out in the river.
A few days ago Annalee and I went to College Station to hang out with the Heifrins and Charlee.  Misty and I made Jency & Annalee a few bows, got pedicures, & went to Cafe Excel (mainly for the dessert :) ).  Annalee enjoyed all the entertainment Jake, Levi, and Jency provided.  There was always something to watch or to yell at.

Annalee Update: She has 2 teeth now, sits up, loves growling at people, kind of crawls..it's more like a worm/frog hop looking crawl, she is pulling up on anything she can, definitely has a little attitude when she does not get her way, and the sweetest little smile & giggle ever.  We enjoy watching her learn and grow every day!

Finally caught up! Now back to packing up the house...
