Annalee's First Shower

Annalee's first shower was last weekend in Abilene.  It turned out so cute and we were very blessed by all the great gifts she received! Here's the shower in pictures...

Sweet Hostesses

Annalee's GayGay (It's her 7th grandbaby) and ???? (Traca is still searching for her grandma name. Dallas is calling her "Babushka" for now so she better decide fast!)

Cute banner Bethany made - this must go on Pinterest!

Little bags that were filled with popcorn

Another cute idea Kelsey made was a tree of our baby pictures

So excited she got a tutu from Crystal - many pictures will be taken in this!

I'm looking forward to the first time Dallas has to do her hair...

Crystal will keep her stylish in the shoe department

I saved some gifts for Dallas to open when he got there at the end.  He loves presents!

Misty got this for her - If you make this picture larger it is a very sweet letter written to Annalee from Jesus.  Could possibly make you teary eyed...or maybe just did that to her mom.

Another sentimental thing she got from Traca - we will definitely be taking a picture with that tiny bracelet on her.  This made Dallas get emotional....he says no one will be good enough to ever date her! Haha.

Adorable gift from Grandma Cooper
Mom got her diaper bag!

This is a bow holder I made about a month ago.  It was super easy to make and I love how it turned out!  Misty and Mom have started her bow collection - which I think might turn out to be excessive because I love bows!

I think this might be the outfit she will wear home from the hospital.  It is so incredibly tiny!  We are so ready to meet our sweet baby girl!

In other news:  Dallas is loving coaching girls volleyball.  He did not know what to expect being the first time to coach girls and since Wylie did not have volleyball when we were there...everything about this experience was new.  I went to the first game and it is a very different experience from boys basketball...the sound of screaming jr. high girls fill the gym the WHOLE time! He also got promoted to head of the basketball program at BDJH so this year he will have his almost undefeated boys from last year and coach 8th grade A.  He does such a great job with the kids!

Aggies & Baby Update

For labor day weekend we went to College Station to hang out with family and go to the first Aggie football game of the season.  We love going back to Aggieland and being apart of the spirit and tradition.  I searched for a little onesie for Annalee's first aggie outfit but couldn't find one smaller than 6 months.  Mom bought her a cute little t-shirt that she can wear during basketball season though!
Few pictures from game day:

And yes after matching their whole life Abe and Addison occasionaly match on accident.  Misty and I bought the same shirt at a tent sale too at different times.

Sweet girl (with a little static in her hair) watching March In - she was fascinated.

In baby news...Annalee's room is getting closer and closer to being completed.  My sister, Amy, is sewing her bedding and doing an awesome job!  Here is a picture of her valance and the front bumper that is done:

What a blessing to have a girl cousin that will be a year and a half older! First of all because of all the great memories they will make together! And all the hand me downs!  Jency girl has stocked Annalee's closet and probably will for many years to come! (This isn't even all of it pictured below!)

Just for memory sake I took a picture of a few of her first "things":

A super soft stuffed animal from Lenda Jensen, book and adorable shoes from Misty, and yes I had to buy her a princess frame! (My nickname in my family is Queen so it's fitting to get her started early! :) )

And finally the updated belly pic - she's growing fast!

Sunflowers & Sweet Memories

This past weekend was Addison & Charlee's wedding in Abilene.  It was a lot of fun but a very busy weekend around the Templeton house! I have to say our family does fun and chaos very well though! :) Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Putting together the flower arrangements for rehearsal dinner.
The awesome sunflower cupcakes Crystal made!
Jency devouring the cute cupcakes!
Main flower arrangement.
 Centerpieces.
Charlee will be joining the bride wall!

A few pictures from the reception...

Please excuse the crazy eyes from the iPhone camera
below we didn't take our camera to the wedding!

And by the end of the weekend this is what everyone wanted to do..

Update in Baby News:

One of Dallas' favorite things about me being pregnant:
(We only park there when he drives!)

We also got a little carried away the day after we found out...
....who could resist there was a clearance sale!

And of course the updated belly pic:

Sweet little Annalee has been kicking like a crazy woman and usually around 11:30 at night!  I guess she's going to be a night owl like both her parents.  I'm not sure if that's a good thing since we will probably want to go to bed around 8 every night when she gets here.  As Dallas says we are in "hibernation" mode until December. We can't wait to see what her personality is like!

Beautiful Baby B!

Today was the big appointment! We finally got another sonogram and found out we're having a baby GIRL!  We are very excited and Dallas is already anticipating his bank account draining to shopping, pedicures, and whatever that sweet girl wants to buy! :)

Here's the updated belly pic:

We have already started putting together the nursery and Dallas has his own ideas about where to put his things that have to leave the office:

We can't wait to meet our sweet baby!
Over half way there!

July News

This past week was full of exciting events and great times with friends and family!  Last week the Rangers were in Houston playing the Astros.  Our friend had tickets through his work so a few of us got to go to the game to watch the Rangers beat the Astros.  It was a lot of fun and there were a ton of Rangers fans there.  Minute Maid is very different from the Ballpark in Arlington....we both decided it was just weird watching a baseball game inside (the roof was closed because it was so hot).

At the end of the week I met Misty halfway to pick up Jency to come hang out with us for a few days.  Sweet little Jency decided to give Uncle Dodo a wake up call for what is going to happen in December when she woke up at 11:15 one night and wanted to just hang out with him until 2:30 in the morning! :) Who wouldn't want to hang out with this cutie though?!?

The following weekend Abe surprised Courtney by proposing under the Century Tree at A&M! Dallas was hidden behind a trash can to capture the engagement and the rest of the family was hiding in doorways and behind buildings.  We had a get together after to celebrate the sweet occasion!

The next morning we got up and drove to the lake to hang out for the 4th and watch fireworks.  It was a very relaxing and exciting weekend!

Update in baby news:

First baby project was to paint the closet.  The little girl that stayed in that room before we bought the house decided her closet wall would be the perfect place to draw with her crayons so it needed a fresh coat of paint to look good again.  Dallas did a great job painting!

Well I couldn't decide if I wanted to post the "belly" pictures or not...but I think one day when I look back on my blog it would be a cool timeline to see since this blog is the closest I come to journaling.  So here is my first belly picture from 2 weeks ago..

And the most exciting news of July is.....

We find out boy or girl on July 28th!!! Yay! I'm so excited and ready to know!

Summer is here!

These first few weeks of June have gone by so quick! Dallas went on a week long (Free!) trip as a sponsor for his 7th grade kids to Washington D.C., Williamsburg, Philadelphia, and more.  He had a great time but was exhausted by the time he got to Abilene for the Caddell/Keenum wedding on Saturday.  This wedding was our friends from growing up I wrote about getting engaged in an earlier post finally tying the knot this past weekend.  It was a very busy but fun weekend at home!  Enjoy the pictures!
